About the apprenticeship:

General Duties will include:

  • Undertake the construction of electrical control systems for modular water and effluent treatment systems for permanent or temporary installations across the construction, industrial or chemical processing sectors
  • Construction of electrical control assemblies
  • Use electrical schematic drawings and ensure updates following completion

Quality, Health, Safety and Environment Duties:

  • Apply sound engineering practice and conduct effective health and safety practices throughout 
  • Assess job tasks identifying hazards, mitigating risks and solving operational issues
  • Wear and always maintain appropriate protective safety equipment for role and activities
  • Report any matters affecting health, safety and environment immediately to the line manager
  • Ensure all waste materials are disposed of appropriately
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and organised work area
  • Support the implementation and improvement of relevant standards and specifications for company equipment, installation and other relevant business processes

Other Duties

  • Proactively develop own knowledge and skills
  • Work effectively within a team environment and contribute positively and assist others when needed
  • Proactively collaborate with colleagues in the interest of the company as a whole
  • Help achieve good customer service and satisfaction through activities and regular communication

Qualifications

  • GCSE Grade C or above in Mathematics, English and Physics/Science 
  • ECS or CSCS

Interview Arrangements:

Two stage interview process. Aptittude test at the training school, followed by an on site interview.
